A dynamic entrepreneur and champion competitor who builds national organizations from the ground up while developing the next generation of business and cultural leaders.

Daniel is an incoming freshman at UCLA studying Business Economics, bringing an extraordinary track record of building impactful organizations and achieving competitive excellence. As Co-Founder and National President of Hope for Hearing—launched in 2023—he demonstrated exceptional organizational and fundraising abilities by growing the nonprofit from a single chapter to 12 chapters across Canada, mobilizing over 300 student volunteers, raising $15,000 for Sunnybrook's cochlear department, and securing $3,200 in funding grants, showcasing his ability to scale meaningful impact nationwide.

His competitive excellence is unmatched as a two-time FBLA national champion and FBLA international finalist, as well as a DECA provincial champion. Leveraging this success, he transformed his achievements into mentorship impact as President of UCC DECA & FBLA Club, where he coached and mentored club competitors, guiding them to multiple Top-10 finishes at provincial and national levels over two years, directly impacting over 60 students and proving his ability to develop winning strategies in others.

His cultural leadership shines through his role as President of UCC Asian Heritage Club, where he led the planning and execution of major events during Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month, including cultural showcases, guest panels, community workshops, cultural bake sales, and cultural festivals that engaged the entire school community in celebrating Asia's rich cultural heritage. Combined with his extensive coaching experience and volunteer work as a music theory tutor for approximately 30 students, Daniel is the ideal mentor for students interested in entrepreneurship, nonprofit development, competitive business programs, cultural leadership, and building sustainable organizations that create lasting community impact.
