Campion Qian is a rising star in machine learning engineering, currently building creative-ranking systems at Meta. He’s contributed to production pipelines that handle billions of daily impressions, optimized LLM-powered ad relevance tools, and built vision-language matching systems deployed across Meta’s ad platforms.

Prior to Meta, he worked on game AI research at Tencent, developed reinforcement learning agents for quantitative trading, and co-authored peer-reviewed AI publications. He’s a graduate of Carnegie Mellon’s Artificial Intelligence Engineering program and has extensive experience in PyTorch, Presto, SQL, Spark, Docker, LLaVA, and AWS/GCP-based workflows.
